The Graduate Certificate in Business and Computing teaches concepts in computer science and business with regard to designing, building, enhancing, and maintaining software systems and applications in the context of business environments such as in the financial industry. Computing topics such as networking and security, databases, data mining and data structures are central to the coursework. Students will also learn fundamental business concepts such as accounting, finance, financial products, business operations and marketing. Award of the certificate requires the successful completion of 12 credits with a grade of “B” or better each of the four courses.
