If you are an emergency responder, our curriculum will prepare you for multiple phases of disaster management including mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery. The curriculum includes Psychology and Sociology of Disasters, Principles of Emergency and Disaster Management, Disaster Assessment and Mitigation and Disaster Management in Public Health. The Disaster Management certificate program requires 16 credit-hours and may be taken independent of the MPH degree or as part of it.
