About Project Working Mom 2010
Through Project Working Mom 2010, eLearners.com will be a catalyst for communities to come together to help establish much-needed resources for the working mother population. eLearners.com has found three barriers associated with moms returning to school—time, money and confidence.
eLearners.com is committed to addressing these issues by raising awareness, aggregating support for a solution and serving as a resource for working mothers and fathers to pursue their educational dreams.
In this effort, eLearners.com is establishing:
- An online resource center for moms and dads to find camaraderie, information, scholarships, advice and other resources to facilitate educational pursuits
- A political agenda to raise federal awareness and financial aid
- A support and scholarship effort leveraging eLearners.com's contacts with the higher education community
- Partnerships with USAToday.com, The Army Times, and Salary.com to showcase triumphant success stories and increase the awareness of online education opportunities
- A thought leadership group to provide direction and rally support

Is there an age limit to the scholarship program, and what if I am not working because of economy related layoff?
Project Working Mom On Tuesday, April 27 2010
@M Grey: No, there is no age limit. Even if you are currently unemployed, you are still eligible to apply.

I am a middle aged working woman who raised 3 children as a single mom. My kids are all grown, but I do want to go back to school to do something I always wanted, but never could afford.

Hello - I am a working mom with 2 toddlers. I make a decent income but my older son has special needs and all of our income goes towards his medical treatments. Now I want to go back to business school to get business credentials but we cannot afford it. Are there any scholarships that can help me ?
