Sheila Dixon, CEO/Founder of Women Building & Investing in Success

Sheila K. Dixon is a mommy, coach, author and entrepreneur. She truly understands and navigates through struggles of the heart while building her home based business, sharing her story and empowering female entrepreneurs to 'GET RESULTS for their life and business.'
She is the CEO/Founder of Women Building & Investing in Success, a business and personal development organization for female business owners. It is her mission to honor and promote women in her network who invest in their personal and business development. Knowing that each person is unique and pulling out the essence of their success is the JOY that keeps Sheila passionate about WBIS. WBIS is a movement for entrepreneurial women who strive to live their Ideal Success Plan while giving back to others. Through WBIS, women business owners of diverse business entities collaborate once a month to knowledge share, address challenges in their business and celebrate their successes. WBIS has evolved into a network where collaborative and experiential learning strategies are producing consistent and positive impact for a woman’s success plan. Sheila enjoys working and developing strategic win/win relationships with professional and executive women who understand the vision of WBIS. She is looking for business leaders who are ready to pull up their sleeves to serve and develop the organization as a reflection and stepping stone for today’s modern entrepreneurial woman.
Sheila spends a great amount of time embracing others and providing immediate action steps or ‘to do’s’ to help others get out of their own way. As she begins to branch out and speak to women’s organizations about her career and life, Sheila is committed to developing her sons as well rounded leaders and helping her husband build a community based business, Centreville Medical Arts Pharmacy. Sheila is from Mars, Pennsylvania a suburb outside of Pittsburgh. She graduated from Duquesne University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and minor in psychology. With over 19 years of combined experience in the corporate and entrepreneurship arenas, she has shared her knowledge, mentoring local women’s groups and professional organizations as they excel within their cultures. She is involved in local business chambers and most recently volunteered as a mentor/coach with Girls On The Run and the Hot Mammas Project at George Washington University. Sheila and her family are members of Mt. Pleasant Baptist church in Herndon, VA.
Sheila is an avid social media buff ,enjoys gardening, tennis and reading. She is very grateful to have an opportunity to work from home while volunteering at her son’s schools and developing her leadership within the community. She truly understands what it is like to need a helping hand in today’s environment and will not refuse to ASK for assistance or to find a resource for another to excel in their endeavors.
