Talvia Peterson, President of the Stone Mountain-Lithonia Chapter, National Coalition of 100 Black Women
Talvia Peterson began her tenure as the 4th President of the National Coalition of 100 Black Women, Stone Mountain-Lithonia Chapter October 1, 2009.
Prior to this appointment, Talvia spent more than 10 years as a motivational speaker, educator in leadership and training and business coaching. Talvia is President and owner of the Pink Cadillac Success Studio which represents the home-training facility for over 50-100 women. The Pink Cadillac Success Studio trains, motivates, inspires and leads a team which produces an average of over $30,000 in retail sales monthly and over $350,000 in retail sales a year. Talvia’s area of sales directors and sales consultants produces over $1.1 million in retail sales annually.
In addition, Talvia is co-owner of Upscale Handbags and Accessories formerly known as Upscale Salon Suites, Inc.. Talvia is also a founding member of the Sister Circle.
Talvia is a native Floridian. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Florida, and Master in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida (where she graduated in the top 2% of her class and was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma National Honor Society). Talvia was recently accepted to an online University to complete her Doctoral Degree in Business: Organization Management & Leadership.
Prior to starting her first business, Talvia was a Vice-President with Bank of America. After working with BOA for several years, she used her business and sales skills to her advantage in the #1 leading brand of skincare and color cosmetics company, becoming a director in 28 days, a free car in 60 days, and pink cadillacs thereafter. Talvia is a Pink Cadillac success, having earned her seventh career car “2010 CTS Pink Cadillac” in less than 10 years.
Talvia volunteers and mentors at the YWCA. She has been featured in My Magazine, Inc., interviewed on the Antonio Smith Radio Show and currently serves on the board for the Emerging Leaders Institute, Inc.
Mrs. Peterson is married with one daughter and resides in the metro-Atlanta area.
