Caren Magill is the Market Director for Ladies Who Launch, Los Angeles and Orange County and Founder of Digital Pink Media. In 2008, after a successful 10-year career in marketing for a multi-national high tech company, a national stock exchange and a venture-backed start-up, she left her fast-paced Silicon Valley lifestyle behind for world travel and career redefinition. In 2009, she returned to her business practice and academic career with a new focus and inspired vision.
Charged with reaction to recent studies that show a decline in female happiness since the 1970’s, Caren founded Digital Pink Media, a new media company and consultancy dedicated to building a generation of happier women through entrepreneurship and personal leadership. Her mission - to help women define their career or entrepreneurial path based on individual interests, personal strengths and market potential. Combined with her graduate research in media psychology, Caren is working to develop new ideas and opportunities that will empower women to drastically improve their life satisfaction, shifting an old 9 to 5 paradigm towards strength-focused work.
In her role as Market Director for Ladies Who Launch, Caren aims to cultivate the same energetic, direction-focused message with an in-person community for women who want to pursue a new career or create an entrepreneurial lifestyle.
When Caren is not changing the world through media, she is focused on her graduate research and living a healthy green (vegan) lifestyle. She is a podcast junkie who gets her creative fodder running along the coast and spends her down time with friends, husband and her dogs Snickers + Coco the pug.
