Lucy Reyna, President, Hispanic Women in Leadership

Lucy Reyna is a recognized community leader with a wealth of experience in executive management and program development. She is a fifth generation Texan and has lived in the Houston area for over thirty years. She has worked with several community-based organizations developing and implementing a diverse array of programs from case management to transportation. She has also worked with the private industry in prioritizing their efforts, especially in Hispanic Markets. She serves as Board President for several non profit organizations such as the Hispanic Women for Leadership, deMadres a Madres and the National Hispanic Council on Aging. She also serves as a member of many community based committees.
From this experience she has emerged as a private consultant in human resource development, grants management and is also familiar with all operational and organizational aspects of community organizations. Lucy was the first Hispanic woman in Houston to address the spread of AIDS by serving the founder and Executive Director of the Life Center a non profit organization serving Hispanics suffering from HIV/AIDS.
Currently she is the founder and owner of Reina Enterprises a private company that provides grant writing, program funding, staffing for research studies, and job placement. Lucy is married, has four children and fifteen grandchildren.
