Josephine Randolph, Project Working Mom Scholarship Winner
I am a stay at home Mom of three beautiful blessings and one on the way. My husband works full time and goes to school to further his education to continue to support our family. Surviving on one income is difficult but God has blessed us to stay afloat everyday. I am not able to work right now because I am a full time mother to our children. I do, however, plan on going back into the work field in the future. I want to take this time, though while I am at home, to further my education so that I am able to get a better paying job when I am ready to go back to work. I wanted to get into the medical billing field because I want to be able to work from home, someday, when I have gone out into the field and have experience to be able to work from home. I want to do this because, although, I have to work, I am a mother first and I want to be available to our children whenever they need me. So, I figured I can do that while working at home.
As I stated before, we are a one income household, so it is very difficult to find the finances to do anything outside of what is necessary. I do consider going back to school to further my education as a necessity, but we do not have the finances to do so.
If I am able to get an online certificate or degree, I will be able to help with our family's finances tremendously. This will be such a blessing for us if I am able to get help to pay for my education.
