Courses are easily accessible — all you need is a computer with a high-speed Internet connection (Cable/DSL is highly recommended). You can view the live streaming video class while interacting with the on-campus students via an 800 number phone connection or watch the class later through the archived servers.

Transfer Credits

Nine hours of graduate credit with a grade of "B" or better from accredited institution may be transferred into a graduate program.

Over the past century, Missouri S&T has set the standard for science and engineering education. Founded in 1870 as the Missouri School of Mines (MSM), the campus became the first technological university west of the Mississippi, and one of the first in the United States. In 1964, MSM was renamed the University of Missouri-Rolla.

In January 2008, the campus became Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) to reflect its intrinsic natures as one of the nation's top technological research university.
