Pacifica's internationally recognized and accredited graduate programs attract students from around the world. Interdisciplinary in orientation and practice, the degree programs reflect an understanding of the complementary relationships between several established academic traditions. At Pacifica the science of psychology is enhanced by the study of the world's literature, religion, art and mythology. Course work in mythological studies is complemented by the tradition of depth psychology in the context of historical, social, cultural, political, and ecological issues.

Pacifica's Information Technology department is committed to advancing the use of technology to enhance the quality and effectiveness of the educational experience for our students, faculty, and staff. Students have access to an impressive array of educational resources on Pacifica's two campuses.
Pacifica Graduate Institute was first accredited on June 30, 1997 by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges, specifically the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities. On June 24, 2010, Pacifica received its reaffirmation of accreditation.
Financial Aid and Scholarships
Pacifica Graduate Institute is approved by the US Department of Education for participation in the Federal Loan Programs. Along with providing loan opportunities to students, Pacifica offers scholarships such as the annual Pacifica scholarship. Pacifica is also a proud participant in the Segal AmeriCorps Matching Education Award program and has entered into agreement with the Veteran's Administration in support of veterans continuing their education under the Post 9/11 G.I. Bill.
