  • Certified Authorization Professional (CAP) recognizes key qualifications of managers who authorize and maintain information systems.
  • Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) recognizes key qualifications of developers who build hacker-resistant software applications.
  • Certified Cyber Forensic Professionals (CCFP) recognizes digital forensics professionals with the required skills and experience in forensic techniques and procedures.
  • HealthCare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP) recognizes the key qualifications of healthcare information security and privacy practitioners.

What professional organizations can I join?

Joining a professional organization could be a great way to build contacts and keep up on the latest industry trends. The organization that you choose to join will likely depend on your experience and intended career path.

Some examples of information security organizations include the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), the Information Technology – Information Security Association (ISACA), the Association of Information Security Professionals (AiSP) and the International Association of Professional Security Consultants (IAPSC).
