Distance Learning at Centenary
You have two choices of distance education at Centenary:
- Complete your degree fully online with no residency requirements
- Complete your degree through a combination of online and on-campus courses, with a residency component built into each course.
If you choose the online and face-to-face combination, Centenary has locations throughout New Jersey which you can choose for your convenience.
Our online programs follows the cohort approach, which means you start your program of study with a group of other students at the same time and follow through the program together. Each degree program is designed so that you follow a sequence of courses until you have finished the entire degree.
All courses are accelerated, so you can concentrate on one course at a time, focusing on one subject. Most courses are 7 weeks, although some may be a week or two longer or shorter. Once you have completed a 7 week course, students have a week away from school before they begin their next 7 week course.
