We at Concordia University Irvine are excited to offer quality online college courses. Our faculty comes to the classroom with vast experiences as practitioners in their professional fields. There are no borders to learning at CUI we're wide open to a world of infinite possibilities!

How long is each online course?

Online courses are available in either 8-week or 14-week formats.

How do I interact with my instructors and classmates?

Each instructor has separate expectations and different parameters for his or her course. Some instructors may expect students to participate weekly in live chats, allowing for direct interaction amongst students. Students studying online at CUI will use Blackboard to access their course and materials. Once logged into Blackboard, students can interact using e-mail and discussion threads.

Will I ever have to travel to the Irvine, California campus?

Online students are not required to travel to any campus. All academic work, assignments, exams, quizzes, etc. are completed one hundred percent online!

What technical requirements are suggested for online students at CUI?

High-speed Internet access is highly suggested for students taking online courses as well as having a Windows XP operating system (or a more recent Windows system). Microsoft Office applications are required, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
