How We Work
The foundation of Stonebridge is its Schools and Faculties. This enables us to
offer highly specialised courses but across a very broad range of subjects.
Education is brought to you rather than vice versa, and you will benefit from
being able to incorporate your studies into your daily life.
Our high standard of practical training offers students the necessary hands-on
experience to obtain additional qualifications.
Qualifications and Quality Standards
Stonebridge courses are recognised by employers, national and international
licensing authorities across the world. On successful completion of their
course, students are entitled to use the post-nominal letters SAC.D and SAC.C or
as designated by the appropriate awarding body.
Through our associated providers and relevant accreditation bodies, rigorous
quality standards are maintained. Stonebridge is a member of the British
Association for Open Learning, qualified suppliers of existing materials to the
University for Industry, and is an ASET approved centre, to name a few. Our
associated providers include Insight Marketing and Study House.
Methods of Study
All our courses are offered by correspondence learning supported by personal
tutors.
All our tutors are experienced professionals in their field of study who are
totally committed to helping students succeed.
Continual assessment is the primary method used, as it means tutors can
consistently monitor progress and provide assistance for the duration of the
course.
In addition to our academic tutors, our friendly team of course advisers and
administrators based in our Registrar's Office are always available to provide
guidance.
There are no terms or semesters. We enrol for courses all year round so students
are free to plan their studies to fit their lifestyle or work.
