Grantham University, founded in 1951, is one of the oldest, private, postsecondary, degree-granting distance education universities in the United States. Grantham continues to be a leader in the field of distance education, especially for the military. Grantham University has provided educational opportunities to service members and their families since 1951. We believe that every service member, veteran, and member of a military family should have the opportunity to pursue a college degree. The University operates on a weekly enrollment cycle. Each term is a duration of eight (8) weeks (56 days). Although the University operates on a weekly enrollment cycle, some courses may not be available on a weekly basis.
