How is RUOnline Different?
While it's true that your RUOnline course will take place in a different type of environment than a typical face-to-face course, there are actually many ways in which your course will be similar to on-campus instruction. Online courses at Roosevelt are taught by the same faculty who teach on campus—experienced faculty committed to student success. Courses balance structure and flexibility, so you’ll study in a community where you will interact with your instructor and other students. You may never see each other face-to-face, but you will get to know each other because you’ll learn together in a structured, supportive online course. All fully online courses are offered within the same semester or session time frame as on-campus courses.
Courses offered through RUOnline are fully accredited by the Higher Learning Commission because they meet the highest academic standards. Each course site in the Blackboard system has a common structure and is designed to function as efficiently as possible, you'll find as much variety as you would in on-campus classes.
