This is an intensive workshop dealing with the art and craft of writing poems. Read the work of other writers, as well as the work of more established contemporary writers. Students write about a poem a week, with revision and discussion via email. The course focuses on poetic influence and innovation, with the intention that your range as a writer and your sense of artistic possibility expands - plus, it's meant to be fun! Sophomore and advanced classes meet together.
