Company Background

Founded in 1999, eLearners.com is a comprehensive Web portal that provides resources to online learners and connects them with online learning providers. eLearners.com was established to respond to the explosive growth of the distance learning industry by educating prospective students and helping them to evaluate the wide variety of available learning programs.

In May, 2005, Halyard Capital, a $450 million private equity fund acquired a majority interest in eLearners.com, providing growth capital and other resources. The company was subsequently re-formed as eLearners.com, a part of the Student Prospecting Division of EducationDynamics, LLC.
