Widener University offers a program which is open only to those holding associate's degrees or hospital certificates in approved allied health professions. The degree permits students to complete minor or select courses that will enhance their personal and professional goals in their respective professions. Two minors are offered in the online program, Applied Supervision and Instructional Methods and Technology. Advanced standing of 51, 40, or 30 semester hours of BLOC (Advance/Transfer) credit is awarded to students based on the type of approved allied health program and certification they have completed. Completion of programs allows students further advancement in their careers. Opportunities are available but not limited in the health industry, civil service, public health care services and international health care organizations.
