With more than 1.3 million nonprofit organizations and foundations in the US, the nonprofit sector is a key area of employment. The Bachelor of Science in Professional Studies – Nonprofit leadership concentration is designed for those working in, or aspiring to work in or with the nonprofit sector. This knowledge is also useful for those interested in or serving on a nonprofit board. Combine a concentration in nonprofit leadership with another concentration to comprise your major. Other concentration options include training and development, strategic public and corporate communication, and organizational leadership.

A minimum of 120 credits is required for graduation. Courses are offered in an accelerated, 8-week format. Students can obtain a degree in four years (less with transfer credits). Those entering with an associate's degree or equivalent can earn their degree in about two years.
