Associate of Science in Business Administration-Marketing

The Associate of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing is specifically designed to prepare students to enter today's demanding business world and to grow their career. This degree is designed so that students can smoothly transition to the bachelor's degree completion program, where they will earn a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree. Graduates of the ASBA – Marketing program will apply critical thinking and problem solving skills by exploring solutions to environmental and organizational dilemmas. Students will apply principles of oral, written, and interpersonal communication in daily, personal, and professional environments. Students will analyze major economic, political, social, and intellectual influences affecting the development of modern civilization. Students will have an understanding of business issues in planning and decision making, and will be able to apply general accounting and financial principles, skills, and analysis to the workplace. Relevant coursework includes: Building Customer Relationships, Principles of Advertising, Consumer Behavior, Principles of Public Relations.
