Master of Science in Safety, Security & Emergency Management

All students in the Master of Science in Safety, Security & Emergency Management online degree program will take 6 core courses during their first year. These courses will focus on various topics such as safety, security and emergency management administration, legislation and legal compliance, workers' compensation/labor law, emergency preparation and response, and auditing. The second year will include support courses on industrial safety management, security management, environmental hazards, risk management and specific concentration courses of the student's choice.

EKU's Master of Science in Safety, Security & Emergency Management now offers six concentrations: Homeland Security, Occupational Safety, Emergency Management, Ergonomics, Fire & Emergency Service, and a Multidisciplinary Track.
