Homeland Security encompasses a broad range of disciplines that play vital roles in the protection of our nation. Developed with guidance provided by the Naval Postgraduate School Center for Homeland Defense and Security, this program is designed to help students acquire an in-depth understanding of emergency management, technology, communications, intelligence, critical infrastructure, terrorism and other knowledge needed in a wide range of government and private organizations. Upon successful completion of this program, graduates can be prepared to apply the fundamentals of homeland security and emergency management to create plans, analyze risk and propose solutions.
