The 30-credit hour MATL curriculum starts with an exploration of active learning and classroom management strategies for today's interactive classroom:

  • Strategies for teaching, assessing, and integrating your area of specialization across the curriculum
  • An action research project focused on your classroom challenges
  • Development of a professional portfolio that demonstrates your growth as a teacher

The curriculum is delivered in less than a year, over 5 eight-week blocks in a sequential format that helps you build upon a framework from one block to the next.
