Capella University's MBA in Accounting will expand your knowledge in areas such as budget planning and control, audit and evaluation of controls, and the nature and function of accounting information in the decision-making process. This program can be completed in two years. Admission to the accounting specialization requires that learners complete and submit the School of Business and Technology Certification of Accounting Experience form. Capella University does not guarantee that the MBA with a specialization in accounting, on its own, will provide learners with the educational requirements necessary to be eligible to sit for the CPA examination or other professional. Capella University will seek approval of this new specialization from the states of Arkansas and Georgia. Learners should contact an enrollment counselor for current approval status in these states.
