The Master of Science in Management and Systems is a unique interdisciplinary program designed to give you a solid understanding of traditional business, as well as leading-edge knowledge of information technologies, to enable you to effectively manage in today's challenging global business environment.

The Systems Management concentration builds the managerial and technical competencies demanded by today's technology-driven business world. Courses in this concentration are geared toward students interested in the more technical areas of managing technology. The courses examine such topics as the structure, implementation, and administration of database management systems; information communication networks, incl. wireless technologies; enterprise application integration; information systems development life cycle, design, and analysis, including object-oriented systems; data and network administration and security; and the discipline of application architecture.

Courses in this concentration include: Management of Communication Technologies; Systems Development and Analysis; Information Security Management; Database Design and Management; Object-Oriented Systems Design; Application Architecture, Design; and Development and Enterprise Application Integration. Core courses include: Managing in a Global Economy; Quantitative Models for Decision Makers; Financial Management; Strategic Marketing; Information Technology; Project Management; and a Capstone Project- Thesis or Applied.

No on-campus time is required. Application through graduation can be done online, plus phone and mail. However, all events, from class dinners to discounted Broadway tickets and executive networking are available to those accessible to the New York area.
