Veterinary Assistant Training Program
The Animal Behavior College Veterinary Assistant Training Program is designed for anyone wishing to pursue a successful career as a Certified Veterinary Assistant. The program offers you the convenience and cost of a home-study program with the added benefit of working one-on-one with veterinary professionals in hospital and clinical settings. ABC's comprehensive curriculum is extensive, consisting of 11 stages of highly detail-oriented educational material. The first stages of the curriculum will teach you all the required responsibilities and duties commonly designated to the veterinary assistant.
ABC will set you up for your externship in a veterinary clinic or hospital where you will apply all that you learned at home in an actual working environment. Throughout this stage of the program, you will be working with veterinarians, veterinary technicians and other veterinary assistants as you apply all of the knowledge you have acquired during the in-home study portion of the program in a real-life professional environment. Tuition for the ABC Veterinary Assistant Training Program ranges from $2,780 - $3,535 depending on payment arrangements made at the time of your enrollment. The tuition fee covers absolutely everything that is needed to become a Certified Veterinary Assistant. You will receive the in-home study portion of the program as well as the unique hands-on veterinary training.
First half of the program can be done online or curriculum can be shipped to student. Second part of the program is a required hands-on externship that is done in-person with a veterinary clinic or hospital near the student.
