Certificate in Occupational Safety
The Occupational Safety Certificate programs develop the critical management skills required by engineers, occupational safety and loss prevention personnel involved in risk management and occupational safety. The curriculum of the Occupational Safety concentration builds knowledge on hazard control principles related to the management of personnel, facilities, and equipment. Courses in this concentration include Industrial and Construction Safety, Corporate Compliance and Personal and Environmental Hazards. The dynamic fields of first response management, fire engineering and rescue operations, require assertive leaders who can see beyond a situation.
