The Fire & Emergency Services Certificate programs were designed to build graduate-level knowledge on top of the experience-based skills of professional fire, rescue and emergency response personnel. The curriculum of the Fire & Emergency Services concentration focuses on current issues that affect first response organizations and their strategic operations. Courses in this concentration include strategic planning, leadership, financial administration and public emergency services. The dynamic fields of first response management, fire engineering and rescue operations, require assertive leaders who can see beyond a situation.
