Description:	Excelsior College’s Sun Certification Program was designed to provide the technical skills that you need to sit successfully for the exams required for three Sun certifications. The program’s courses correlate directly to their exam objectives: Solaris 8 System Administrator 310-011 Series, Solaris 9 System Administrator 310-014/310-015 Series and Sun Java 2 Developer SCJD CX-310-252A/CX-310-027 Series. Excelsior College’s Sun Certification Program goes beyond test preparation. It presumes minimal knowledge or experience and takes you, step-by-step, through all of the basics providing you with a strong foundation for skill-building. For example, in our Solaris 8 System Administrator course, you’ll be introduced to the basic topics of Solaris management, from installation to system shutdown. You’ll learn system security, data protection, and back-up and recovery. In our Solaris 9 System Administrator course, you’ll learn how to perform essential system administration procedures for a networked server on the Solaris OS. And in our Sun Java 2 Developer course, you’ll learn exactly how to design, create, test, and submit an application.
