Coast Guard Reserve Tuition Assistance

United States Coast Guard Reserve
The Coast Guard TA program is designed to assist eligible personnel in their professional development by providing funding for off-duty voluntary education courses to broaden their academic or Coast Guard technical background.

You can take traditional, in-classroom courses or online classes, but they must be taken through a properly accredited institution, which means it's nationally or regionally accredited and it awards college credit or accredited clock or contact hours.

All users of the TA program are reminded that prompt submission of a properly completed application is required prior to class registration. Applicants should keep in mind that it takes time to authorize TA and to leave ample time before classes are set to begin.
