With 532 full-time faculty, 97% of whom hold the highest degree in their field, CSU is a leader in educational excellence. Cleveland State has been providing online courses and programs for nearly 10 years, offering CSU students and faculty an engaged learning experience.
CSU is a leader in online education in northeast Ohio. Your professors are the same outstanding faculty who teach in traditional classrooms, with the same high quality of instruction. eLearning courses are just as vigorous and challenging as traditional University courses; they are not "easier" simply because they are online.
School of Nursing
The School of Nursing at Cleveland State University (CSU) offers undergraduate and graduate programs in professional nursing leading to a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree. The programs are available to qualified men and women who have been admitted to CSU. A special program of study is designed for RN graduates from diploma or associate programs to receive a BSN degree.
The purpose of the undergraduate program is to prepare professional nurses committed to the health and well-being of all people. Graduates of the program are prepared to function as generalists in community-based health care settings. They are prepared to use a preventive health framework to provide primary, secondary, and tertiary care to families, groups and communities. Cleveland State University BSN graduates are prepared for entry-level positions in nursing and graduate study. The graduate program prepares RNs for advanced specialized practice.

The same FAFSA rules and regulations apply to graduate students and undergraduate students. The first step in the financial aid process is completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Our school FAFSA code is 003032.
