Is eLearners an online college?
No, eLearners is not a college. Our site does not offer online classes or any type of college credit. Instead, eLearners represents hundreds of sponsoring schools and colleges, helping prospective students find more college options in a single, online directory.
Am I required to “join,” or create an account before I can receive college information?
No, you are not required to register for anything on the eLearners website. However, if you find a college program or several college programs that match your interests, and you wish to be contacted by an enrollment counselor (by phone, email, and/or postal mail), you will need to provide some basic information about yourself. When you submit your information request, you must also agree that eLearners may contact you with follow-up notices and advice.
If you decide you are no longer interested in receiving updates and college information, you may opt out of eLearners’ emails at any time. If you decide you do not wish to be contacted by the college(s) you selected, you must contact the college(s) directly, and ask to be removed from any contact lists. eLearners cannot retract information that has already been submitted to sponsoring schools, and eLearners cannot make opt-out requests on your behalf.
What if I’m not ready to be contacted by an enrollment counselor?
College is a big decision. Many students visit the eLearners website dozens of times before they are ready to speak with a college counselor. If you are unsure about your college plans, we encourage you to explore our Education Resources tab and/or take advantage of our live, student advisor team. Student advisors can be reached Monday through Friday, from 9am to 8pm, at 877.824.7954.
eLearners also distributes a weekly newsletter for prospective online students. The newsletter features specific online programs and informative articles about career fields, college majors, and employment news. You can subscribe to the eLearners newsletter here.
How long will it take for a school I am interested in to contact me?
When you request information about a college program, you will generally hear from the school within one or two days. If for some reason you do not hear from the school, please feel free to contact us at 877.824.7954, and we will be happy to match you with another school.
I am an International Student. Which schools should I consider?
The sponsoring colleges listed on the eLearners site all offer different advantages and attributes. Some may have more experience supporting international students. You can learn more about each school’s history and scope by reading eLearners’ school descriptions.
If you prefer to search for online schools that are specifically recruiting international students, visit our sister site, UniversitiesAbroad.com.
