InterCoast College Admissions
Starting your InterCoast College journey begins with a phone call. Instead of first directly applying to the school, IC recommends that students first speak with an admissions representative. Their job is to guide you through the entire application process. This includes helping you submit necessary materials like high school transcripts as part of your application.
Then, your adviser could walk you through the pre-enrollment assessment. This test aims to evaluate your previous academic and professional experience. Results could help place you in appropriate courses that are suited for your level of expertise.
During the admissions process, you may also have the chance to speak with a financial advisor. These representatives may help you find and apply for scholarships, grants, and loans. By doing this while you’re applying, you could potentially ensure that your financial needs are met before enrolling.
Students could apply to InterCoast College programs via their online application. Students may also be required to pay a $150 application fee when applying.i

The InterCoast Online Experience
IC’s online programs are designed to fit into a busy adult’s schedule. They understand that work, family, and other factors might make returning to education difficult. But, online programs may be conveniently available whenever you have time to log in. And, they could be accessible wherever you have internet access! This means no commuting.
But, InterCoast College has another goal in mind. They realize that many students returning to their education might be doing so to potentially enhance their career opportunities. Because of this, IC strives to make their online curriculum applicable to a wide range of professional positions.
In addition, online students have access to additional student services. This could include outside faculty support, financial assistance, technical support, and career services.

When you apply to InterCoast College, you’re also put into contact with a tuition coordinator. These advisers could help you locate and apply for grants, scholarships, and appropriate student loans. Students may be required to submit a financial assistance form as part of their application. This process could ensure that you’re already thinking about your financial well-being before even cracking a textbook open.

IC Faculty

Unlike some other schools, IC faculty devote 100% of their time instructing students. Professors spend their working solely with students instead of conducting outside projects that could take away from class time.
This devoted attention could be especially important to online students. Due to this, distance learners may potentially receive more individualized attention from their professors. When you may not be able to speak with your professors face-to-face, this could be vital to understanding your course material.
It should also be noted the IC does not employ graduate assistants. Classes are only taught by professors instead of affiliated graduate students.
